As we journey through these final days of Advent, today the Church prays the “O Antiphon” O Root of Jesse — reminding us that Jesus is the long‑awaited promise, the One who brings hope, restoration, and new beginnings.
“O Root of Jesse, standing as a sign among the peoples; before you kings will shut their mouths, to you the nations will make their prayer: come and deliver us, and delay no longer.”
As Christmas approaches, may we open our hearts to the hope Christ brings:
🌿 Hope for families
🌿 Healing for the weary
🌿 Peace for our world
🌿 Joy renewed in our communities
May the Root of Jesse take deeper root in our lives today.
Come, Lord Jesus. 💛💙
